Third-party insurance is the most basic form of cover. This will cover you for any third-party damage or injury. This cover does not insure you for damages to your vehicle or injury to yourself in the event of an accident.
This insurance type covers you for everything above, plus fire-related damage to or theft of your vehicle.
Fully comprehensive insurance from Lexham offers you complete cover. You will be covered for all of the aforementioned - as well as accidental damage to your vehicle due to an accident.
It is fair to say three-wheel scooters such as the Yamaha Tricity are becoming a more common sight on UK roads. Three-wheel scooters generally offer great comfort, high spec, and potential safer riding along with the bonus that most can be ridden on a full car licence*. It is these benefits amongst many others that are seeing more and more commuters ditching public transport and other transport methods in favour of the freedom of a three-wheel scooter.
Due to our specialist insurance rates for three-wheelers, we are the preferred insurance provider for many in the UK.

Yamaha has two Tricity models currently available, the 125cc version and the all-new 300cc version. Now it is important to note the 125cc version (currently) is classed as a scooter and can’t be ridden on a car licence. To ride the Tricity 125 you’d need to have an active CBT (Compulsory Basic Training) certificate. The Tricity 300 though, is classed as a trike and can be ridden on a full B car licence*.
