Our highly competitive Classic Insurance Policy covers the ever popular Vespa and Lambretta, many obscure and rare models of Mopeds and Scooters and the endless number of Motorbikes available e.g. Triumph, Norton, MV Augusta and Yamaha.

We can cover Original, Restored, Modified, Rare, Chopped or Customised vehicles on this policy; sometimes as little as 10 years old depending on the make and model (and schemes available at the time). Our Classic Insurance policy's also come with FREE breakdown and many other extras included. We also offer additional extra's to add on including Personal Accident Cover.

The option of Limited Mileage is also available to help reduce Insurance premiums as many Classics are not for everyday use (these are for less than 3,000 miles a year)

Agreed Value Specialist Policies

Just like a Classic Car a Classic Moped, Scooter or Motorcycle requires a particular type of Insurance coverage and here at Lexham we offer a specialty policy that ensures you get exactly the right Classic Insurance policy for your pride and joy.

We understand there are particular issues that face owners of Classic's and they need to be taken into consideration when helping select the right policy to protect your investment.

Insurance companies use a particular system to value mopeds, scooters and motorcycles, this system is based purely on what the vehicle is worth without taking into consideration the value that rarity and restoration can add.

This means that although your Classic maybe worth a lot of money on open market your Insurance Company might value it a lot lower. This policy works a little differently from normal and acknowledges the value of a vehicle can be a lot higher than it appears on paper. This is called Agreed Value*.

Multi-Vehicle Policies

These are also available for both Modern and Classic vehicles or a mixture of the 2. We allow any number of vehicles but the total value must not exceed 4 bikes and a total value of £20,000 - £25,000 (dependent on the insurance company) The Agreed Value* option is available on these policies too!

*Please Note on Agreed Value Policies: On Agreed Value policies we will require more information than normal policies (i.e. 6 recent photos, bill's for parts & servicing). This will be sent to an independent Valuation Officer) so please allow extra time to get these policies in place.
